Letter from year 3/4 group staff w/c 27th April
Date: 24th Apr 2020 @ 11:20am
Hi Guys,
We hope you are well and staying safe. It has been a long time now since we were all together in class and school but we hope you have been still learning. We really hope you have been reading and having a go at the times tables you were not sure of. Remember you can still use Spelling Shed and TT Rockstars from home. If you do not know your user name or log-ins, then contact school by ringing up or by emailing your class.

3/4J - [email protected]
3/4S - [email protected]
We have access to a new resource that will help you to have a go at some lessons to keep up with your learning. We need to make sure we still use our brains and continue to learn so we can quickly catch up when we meet up again, back in school.
The website is https://www.thenational.academy/
When you are on the site you need to click on the classroom button. This will take you to a new page. If you then click on schedule you will see all the year groups at the top.
There is no Y3/4 class so click on the year you are in.
You will then see some daily tasks to have a go at.
If you are in Y3 you will be learning to write some instructions in English. You will do some work on fractions in maths. For the connected learning work you will learn about the Normans, plants, have a music lesson and if you are really keen you can even learn some Spanish.
If you are in Y4 you will be learning to write some poetry in English. You will do some work on area and perimeter in maths. For the connected learning work you will learn about King Henry VIII, light, have a music lesson and if you are really keen you can even learn some Spanish.
We hope you enjoy having a go at these lessons and you can take photographs of your work or scan them in and send them in to school via the emails and we will have a look at your great work.
Don't forget there are also other things you could have a go at.
Try creating a rainbow poster for your window.
Writing a thank you card to your postie or refuse collector
Doing some baking.
Creating your own board game.
Writing a story or creating a comic.
Building with Lego, plasticine or Playdough.
Creating a menu for a family meal.
Writing a quiz to test your parents!!
Making a Kahoot that we could try out in class
Send any pictures to school so we can have a look.
Stay Safe
