Resilience Assembly with Huddersfield Town's Danny Ward

On Tuesday 31st January 2023, Huddersfield Town striker, Danny Ward visited Moldgreen to deliver an assembly to the whole school all about resilience. The children listened to Danny and learned all about how important it is to stay mentally strong throughout any task and adversity, and found it very interesting to hear how Danny was using resilience in his own example of being injured and unable to play football, but still remaining positive and upbeat. After the talk, the children were given the unique opportunity to ask Danny their questions, and it was great for them to get an insight into what life is like as a professional footballer.

Remembrance Service at Ravensknowle Park

On Monday 11th November 4L laid a wreath at the Remembrance Service  As a school we also remembered in assembly and made poppies and placed them in the United Church's garden.

Families joined staff in a short remembrance service on the Friday.
